How It Started
From One Motorhome to a Whole New Way of Life
Travel and reading became part of the same rhythm for our family, and this site grew naturally out of that journey.
Our Full Story
In 2020, our family bought a motorhome and hit the road with a simple goal: see more of the country and make more memories together. We did not realize at the time just how much that decision would shape the years ahead.
As we traveled from campground to campground, followed scenic roads through new states, and settled into the slower pace of life on the road, books became part of the journey too. Long drives, quiet mornings, rainy afternoons inside the RV, and evenings by the fire created the perfect rhythm for reading.
Before long, travel and books became inseparable. We found ourselves collecting not only miles and campground memories, but also stories, favorite authors, dog eared pages, and books that now forever remind us of certain roads, sunsets, and places.
The Reading Rambler is where those worlds come together. It is where we share honest book reviews, campground stays, RV travel tips, gear recommendations, and reflections from the road.
